Paris High School student-athlete Taylor Carroll was recognized Thursday, October 8, during the Wildcats’ home football game against Ferris as part of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Team of the Week Road Tour, proudly sponsored by Casey’s.

Carroll was presented with the Scholar Athlete Award, along with $250 in tuition assistance courtesy of Casey’s, in recognition of outstanding leadership and dedication in the classroom.

Also receiving the honor was Ferris High School student-athlete Oscar Balderas, who was recognized with the same award and tuition assistance.

The Scholar Athlete Award highlights the importance of academic achievement and leadership, recognizing students who demonstrate that success extends beyond the athletic field.

Paris ISD is proud to celebrate Carroll for representing Paris High School and Wildcat Nation through a commitment to academics, athletics, and leadership.

The district extends its appreciation to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football and Casey’s for recognizing the accomplishments of student-athletes and investing in their educational futures.

Congratulations to Taylor Carroll and Oscar Balderas on this well-deserved recognition!
