T. G. Givens Welcomes Grandparents for Special Grandparents Day Lunch
T. G. Givens Early Childhood Center was filled with extra smiles and special guests Friday as students welcomed their grandparents to campus for a Grandparents Day lunch.
The annual celebration gave grandparents the opportunity to step into their grandchildren’s school day, enjoy lunch together, and make special memories with their little Wildcats. Students were excited to welcome their guests and share a part of their school experience with some of the people who mean the most to them.
For many of the children, having a grandparent join them at school made an ordinary lunchtime feel like a very special occasion. The cafeteria was filled with conversations, hugs, laughter, and plenty of proud grandparents enjoying time with their grandchildren.
Events such as the Grandparents Day lunch are an important part of building strong connections between school, home, and the community. T. G. Givens appreciates the many grandparents and family members who took time out of their day to celebrate with students and help make the event memorable.
Paris ISD is grateful for the grandparents who encourage, support, and cheer on our youngest Wildcats as they begin their educational journey.
