The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) at Crockett Intermediate School recently welcomed 62 exceptional fifth-grade students during its annual induction ceremony, celebrating students who exemplify scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.
The ceremony honored students who have demonstrated dedication both inside and outside the classroom. Membership in NEHS recognizes more than academic success—it encourages students to become active leaders and positive role models within their school and community.
“These students have shown what it means to lead with kindness, work hard, and serve others,” said Kimberly Donnan, principal of Crockett Intermediate. “We are proud of the example they set for their classmates each day, and we look forward to seeing the impact they will continue to make at Crockett and beyond.”
As members of NEHS, students will participate in leadership opportunities and service projects throughout the school year aimed at strengthening their school and supporting the community. The organization encourages students to develop the skills and character traits that will help prepare them for future success both academically and personally.
The induction ceremony served as a celebration of the students’ accomplishments while also marking the beginning of their continued commitment to leadership and service.
