Justiss Elementary Celebrates First Ever 4th Grade Legacy Walk

Students, parents, and staff at shared smiles, hugs, and plenty of emotions during the school’s first-ever 4th Grade Legacy Walk.
Fourth grade students walked the halls they have called home since kindergarten, celebrating the memories made throughout their elementary years. Families and staff lined the hallways cheering on students as they reflected on how much they have grown over the past five years.
The event served as a meaningful way to honor the students’ journey before they move on to the next chapter at Crockett Intermediate School.
“This was such a special moment for our students, families, and staff,” said Principal Dustin Smyers. “Watching these students walk the halls one last time as elementary students reminded us just how quickly these years go by. There were a lot of happy tears today, and we hope this becomes a tradition that continues for many years to come.”
The Legacy Walk created lasting memories for the Class of 2034 and highlighted the strong connections built within the Justiss family throughout their elementary school years.
