Paris ISD Athletes Shine at Area 10 Special Olympics Track Meet

Eight Paris ISD student-athletes proudly represented Wildcat Nation at the Area 10 Special Olympics Track Meet held Saturday, March 28, 2026, earning top finishes across multiple events.
The Wildcats demonstrated determination, sportsmanship, and incredible effort throughout the competition, bringing home numerous medals and personal achievements.
Results are as follows:
• Brandon Spear — 1st place Standing Long Jump; 1st place 50m Run
• Jeremiah Black — 2nd place Standing Long Jump; 2nd place 100m Run
• Zyqualon Harris — 3rd place Standing Long Jump; 4th place 50m Run
• Justin McGrath — 4th place Standing Long Jump; 5th place 50m Run
• Zolan McGill — 3rd place Turbo Javelin; 3rd place 100m Run
• James Hickson — 1st place Shot Put; 1st place 100m Run
• Adrian Novas — 1st place Running Long Jump; 2nd place 100m Run
• Kaleb Finch — 2nd place Running Long Jump; 1st place 50m Run
“These athletes showcased not only their athletic abilities but also their perseverance and heart,” said Paris High School teacher Kim McClure. “We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our district and the spirit of Special Olympics.”
Paris ISD extends its congratulations to all eight athletes and thanks the coaches, staff, and families who continue to support and encourage these outstanding students.
