Paris ISD Students Recognized in Lamar County Soil and Water Conservation District Contest

Paris ISD students recently received checks for winning entries in the annual Lamar County Soil and Water Conservation District (LSWCD) Poster and Essay Contest. All winning essays and posters have been submitted for judging at the regional level.
Several Paris ISD students were recently recognized for their outstanding entries in the annual Lamar County Soil and Water Conservation District (LSWCD) Poster and Essay Contest. Students received monetary awards for their work, and all winning posters and essays have been submitted for regional judging.
Poster Contest Winners
K–3rd Grade
First Place – Kaelyn Julian, Justiss Elementary – $50
Second Place (tie) – Margaret Gibbs, Aikin Elementary – $30
Second Place (tie) – Wyatt Armstrong, Justiss Elementary – $30
4th–6th Grade
First Place – Kyndal Davidson, Aikin Elementary – $80
Second Place – Halle Marshall, Justiss Elementary – $50
