Pre-K Students Honor Veterans with Heartwarming Celebration

The Pre-K students at T. G. Givens Early Childhood Center celebrated Veterans Day with a special program honoring those who have served in the armed forces. The young students sang a tribute song, and proudly marched around the cafeteria waving American flags to show their appreciation.
The event opened with pledges for the American and Texas flags and a moment of silence, all led by Assistant Superintendent Gary Preston. There was also an inspiring message from Paris ISD Assistant Police Chief and Army Veteran Ace Pruitt, who shared his experiences and explained what it means to be a veteran. Adding to the meaningful tribute, Tony Boss performed Taps on his trumpet, creating a moving moment of reflection for all in attendance.
“We are so proud of our students for taking part in this important celebration,” said Assistant Superintendent Gary Preston. “It was a joy to see them honor our veterans with such enthusiasm and respect.”
T. G. Givens extends a heartfelt thanks to all veterans for their service and sacrifices, and for inspiring future generations through their bravery and dedication.
