Paris ISD Educators Attend National “Get Your Teach On” Conference to Enhance Student Learning
Teachers and administrators from three Paris ISD campuses recently dedicated part of their summer to professional growth by attending the national “Get Your Teach On” conference, held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center.
Educators from Lamar County Head Start, Aikin Elementary, and Justiss Elementary joined over 6,000 teachers and administrators from across the country at this inspiring event, which is specially designed for Pre-K through middle school educators.
The multi-day conference focused on innovative instructional strategies, student engagement techniques, and the latest trends in education. As part of the energizing kickoff ceremony, attendees were treated to a live concert by Joe Jonas — setting an enthusiastic tone for the days of learning and collaboration ahead.
By investing time in this professional learning opportunity, these Paris ISD teachers and administrators aim to bring fresh ideas and renewed passion back to their classrooms this fall, ultimately benefitting students throughout the district.
Paris ISD proudly supports ongoing professional development, ensuring that educators stay at the forefront of educational best practices and continue to inspire lifelong learning in every student.
