Paris ISD Administrators Participate in District Leadership TIA Walks

At Paris Independent School District, supporting high-quality instruction is an ongoing priority — and that work starts with strong leadership.
This year, Paris ISD administrators are taking part in District Leadership TIA (Teacher Incentive Allotment) Walks, also known as DLTs. These walks bring together the district’s leadership team — including principals, assistant principals, and superintendents — to ensure consistency, collaboration, and continued growth in how teaching and learning are supported across all campuses.
The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) is a state program designed to recognize, reward, and retain highly effective teachers. It provides a framework for districts to identify instructional excellence and strengthen teaching practices through meaningful feedback and support.
DLTs are conducted twice each year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Each session includes both a morning block (9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) and an afternoon block (1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.). During this time, administrators visit eligible campuses and participate in a structured teacher observation and calibration process.
These District Leadership TIA Walks are designed as growth opportunities, helping administrators align expectations, strengthen evaluation practices, and maintain consistency district-wide.
Through this work, Paris ISD’s administrative team demonstrates its commitment to ensuring every classroom is led by high-quality educators and that students across the district benefit from strong, effective instruction.
