Justiss First Graders Honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Through Music and Message
Students at Justiss Elementary School recently took the stage for their much-anticipated annual first grade performance, delivering a program that was both entertaining and deeply meaningful. This year’s theme paid tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., celebrating his message of equality, peace, and unity.
The event featured a series of heartfelt musical selections that resonated with the audience. Students performed songs including “Sing About Martin,” “Lean on Me,” and “The Dream of Martin Luther King,” filling the room with powerful lyrics and youthful enthusiasm.
In addition to the musical numbers, several students bravely stepped forward to share inspirational words about Dr. King’s life and achievements. Their reflections highlighted his leadership in the Civil Rights Movement, his commitment to nonviolent protest, and his vision of a more just and united world.
