Pre-Kindergarten

Pre-K students are expected to spend a minimum of 15 minutes per subject.  Lamar County Head Start and Givens Early Childhood Center have provided resources for Reading, Math, and Science.  It is also recommended that you spend a minimum of 30 minutes each day reading to your child.

Givens Early Childhood Center

  • ​All parents should have received an email from Waterford with an activation link.  If you did not receive the email or need the email to be resent, please email your child’s teacher or text them through Remind.

    • Paper packets will be available in newspaper bins at food pick-up locations throughout the district.
    • ​Paper packets may also be picked up in the newspaper bins located outside the school entrance at Givens.
