Medication

Non Prescription and Prescription Meds

Medication administration is highly discouraged at school.  However, If it is necessary for your child to receive medication during school hours, specific instructions must be provided to the school nurse and school personnel.  A consent form for prescription and or non-prescription meds must be signed by he parent giving consent for the med to be administered.  The medication must be brought to and kept in the nurse's office.  It must be in the original container labeled with the child's name, name of medication, and specific dispensing instructions.  The school will not give out of date medication.

Medication Consent Form

Asthma Medications

Student's with asthma who should carry their inhalers must have signed consent from their physician and parent confirming the child's knowledge of the med and how to administer it, and permission to self-administer.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
