Paris ISD,

We would like to thank our students, parents, and teachers who have weathered the last two days of remote learning.  We would like to assure all that your efforts did not go unnoticed, and no student will be penalized for not being able to access assignments due to lack of electricity or internet service.  We ask that you continue to update your teachers on your current status.

TEA has granted all schools three inclement weather waivers.  These waivers do not require schools to make up these days, nor use their weather days.  As a result, this will be the schedule for PISD for the next several days:

We appreciate your patience as tough decisions are being made hourly with all students, parents, and employees in mind.  We have shared community resources on our Facebook page should your family need assistance.  As always, we pray for the safety of all of our families.
