Paris ISD Starts CHAMPIONS Mentor Program

Paris ISD is excited to announce its district-wide Mentor Program.  The CHAMPIONS Mentor Program was established to match a mentor (a Paris ISD Instructional Employee) with a peer group of five selected Paris ISD students.  The program will offer relationship building through guidance, homework help, social and emotional learning through peer group and campus activities, and planned outings.  The program outline is designed to foster students in such a manner that we will see academic success and personal growth.  We are excited about this program and await the stories of success.  The employees of Paris ISD are dedicated to the well-being of every student.  Our CHAMPIONS mentor program believes “Every kid needs a Champion.”-Rita Pierson.   If you have questions or want more information about the program, please contact Sabrina Rosson at sabrina.rosson@parisisd.net or 903-737-7500 ext. 4382 or Katrina Mitchell at katrina.mitchell@parisisd.net at 903-737-7500 ext. 4383.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
