Crockett Intermediate School 6th Grade Flag Crew learn how to handle the American and Texas Flags

Crockett Intermediate School Police Officer Billy Jordan invited the Paris Police Department Honor Guard to their campus.  The Honor Guard showed the Crockett flag crew the proper way to fold and handle the American and Texas flags.

 

Each year Officer Jordan picks a few 6th graders to put up and take down the American and Texas flag each day.  The process of choosing the flag crew starts during the students’ 5th-grade year.  Officer Jordan’s Flag Crew are students who are respectful, show integrity, make good grades, and stay out of trouble.
