PHS Swimmers Qualify for Regionals

Paris High will send eight swimmers to the Region 3 Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 3-4 in Frisco after qualifying at the recent District 12-5A Championships.  The PHS boys swimming team (left) finished third at district to Highland Park and Lucas Lovejoy.  They are (from left) Keyton Gilbert, Brendan Henry, Coach Seanda Gilbert, Graham Bain, Dalton Kee.

 

The girls team also was third behind Highland Park and Lovejoy.  They are (from left) Andria Gentry, Sydney Walter, Coach Gilbert, Reagan Stone, Shelby Wilson. 

The Swim Cats advanced 3 relay teams to regionals along with Gilbert, Stone, and Wilson in individual events.  Walter is a freshmen, Bain, Gentry, and Stone are juniors, and the rest are seniors.
