Justiss Elementary School Science Fair Winners

Justiss Elementary School’s Science Fair winners were announced recently.  The winners pictured with Principal Renee Elmore  from left are:

3rd Graders:

          Ethan Wilkins – 1st place – The Floating Egg

          Dakarrie Clayton – 2nd place – Air Brown Apples

          Anna Echols – 3rd place – Gummy Mosis

4th Graders:

          Kyndall Keeling – 1st place – Does Color Affect Taste?

          Arianna Gonzalez – 2nd place – Grass Paper

          Axel Avitua – 3rd place – Elephant Toothpaste

          The 1st and 2nd place winners from the fourth grade will be submitting a video to compete in the Region 8 ESC Virtual Science Fair on February 11th.

While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
