Singer Seth Sikes visits Justiss Elementary

Seth Sikes visited students in Rachel Henson's 3rd grade class at Justiss Elementary School during his recent return to his hometown.

The New York Times calls Seth Sikes one of New York's most talked about young cabaret singers "A hit with audiences and critics alike."  Sikes regularly plays to capacity crowds at Feinstein's / 54 Below, singing standards with his band. His heartfelt tribute shows to Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli have earned him unanimous raves from critics such as Rex Reed, in the New York Observer, who said, "There's no telling how far Seth Sikes will go."

Sikes attended New York's Circle in the Square Theatre School.  After a brief performance career, he worked as an Assistant Director on shows like THE NANCE, starring Nathan Lane.  After a decade of working behind the scenes, Sikes returned to the stage in an autobiographical solo act singing old songs with a big band. His act brought him into the spotlight of New York's cabaret scene and he has since taken his show on the road.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
