Paris ISD schools hold annual spelling bees

Paris Independent School District students recently competed in campus spelling bees and eight students will represent the District in the annual Lamar County Spelling Bee in the Weger Auditorium at Paris Junior High School on February 4.

Campus co-champions are (top row from left) fourth graders Philip Reyes and Gage Plata from Aikin; fourth graders E’leeyha Smith and Deontae Dangerfield from Justiss; (bottom row from left) fifth graders Hannah Cunningham and Arjan Khadka with sponsor Jill Nutt from Crockett; and Jacob Stephens (8th grade) and Anna Grace Blassingame (7th grade) from Paris Junior High.
