Paris Education Foundation Announced the 2016 Scholarship Recipients

Fifty-seven (57) Paris High School seniors were awarded Paris Education Foundation scholarships totaling $108,250

The PEF 2016 scholarship recipients are Demonquez Allen, Payton Barrios, Pharceni Battle, Patxsonnia Brown, Adlih Calderon, Mary Chaix, Macey Chapman, Sloan Clay, Mary Cobb, Cristiain Cortes, Da'Quayvious Council, Tamekia Dixon, Gabrielle Finch, Juan Flores, Justice Flowers, Kaitlin Frazier, Maria Gomez, Maria Gonzalez, Asia Garvin, Blaine Grissom, Ty-travious Gray, X'zavius Gray, Evelyn Gulde, Mary Hervey, Mason Hamm, Caroline Janes, Brittanee' Johnson, Mikayla Johnson, Onyxia Johnson, Mallory Kennedy, Sara Lancaster, Jada Lee, Maggie Maxwell, Quintarius Mitchell, Alexandrea Montellano, Jesus Morales, Romy Newberry, Omar Palomares, Channing Parker, Cheyenne Plummer, Shikha Prakash, Darius Samuels, Jr., Tyler Sanders, Mallory Shoemake, Caitlin Simpson, Shreya Singh, Angeline Tacuyan, LaKendra Thomas, Anna Grace Thrasher, Taylor Threadgill, Roman Villarreal, Katie Watson, Jeffery White, Alexis Willison, Erin Wright, Zoie Young, and Thomas Zimmerman.

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
