Paris Junior High School students inducted into National Junior Honor Society

 

The Paris Junior High School Chapter of National Junior Honor Society inducted 56 seventh graders as new members recently.  Members must have a cumulative grade point average of 89.5; however, membership is more than just academic. Students must also demonstrate high standards in leadership, service, and character.   

New inductees are Mylee Anderson, Jordan Andrade, Addison Andrew, Diego Avitua, Jaxon Bell, Keyria Booker, Jackson Brazeal, Anderson Bunch, Rosmery Chavez, Aubrey Coco, Peyton Cook, Preston Cross, Luke De la Garza, Dycurian Douglas, Caden Easton, Curtis Fendley, Ava Fitzgerald, Mazy Frierson, Johnnessa Gaffney, Javier Garcia, Madeline Green, Destinee Gunn, James Harrelson, Faith Hicks, Ashton Hilliard, Adeliz Hinojosa, Trevin Hohenberger, Erika Holt, Shamyia Holt, Ethan Hundley, Jessica Gibo, Chase Lamb, Steven Langley, Weslee Langley, Bree Leeks-Padron, Jovanny Leon, Matthew Mann, Kiera Martin, Mackenzie Martin, Matthew Miller, Chloe Moore, Jordan Perkins, Stephanie Ramirez, Maddison Rancher, Alexis Raney West, Dakenzi Robinson, Houston Rogers, Sophie Smallwood, Preston Thompson, Laura Torres  Vega, Kelton Varner, John Walker, Carter Wall, Elijah Ward, Payton Ward, and Issac Wear.

While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
