Paris ISD Employees Receive GROWL Award (March 2019)

Paris ISD principals named employees for the March GROWL Award “Getting Results from Outstanding Wildcat Leaders” Customer Service Award - “O - Optimistic.” Winners are Jordan Vanderschaaf at Head Start, Veronica Villa Carillo at Givens, Shelby Ryals at Aikin, D’Airreon Jefferies at Justiss, Andi Tucker at Crockett, Linda Hamm at Paris Junior High, Shonda Ragsdale at Paris High School, and Roderick Mitchell at Travis High School of Choice. 

A drawing for grand prizes sponsored by AHI Facility Services was conducted by      Superintendent Paul Jones and Althea Dixon, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Accountability.  Jordan Vanderschaaf and Shonda Ragsdale received $50 gift cards. Remaining winners received $10 gift certificates from Applebee's.

While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
