PHS students receive creative writing awards

The Paris Junior College Creative and Academic Writing Competition awards ceremony to honor outstanding student work was held recently. Paris High School students competed in various categories against the always strong entries of Paris Junior College students.

Four Paris High School seniors received awards. Morial Amin-Allen won first place in both poetry and short story. Elizabeth Frazier won honorable mention in narrative essay.  Anna Floyd won second place in short story. Josie Cade won first place in narrative essay.
