Paris ISD Employees Receive GROWL Award

“GETTING RESULTS from OUTSTANDING WILDCAT LEADERS”

Paris ISD principals nominated employees for the newly established monthly GROWL AWARD “GETTING RESULTS from OUTSTANDING WILDCAT LEADERS. Winners for November are Sharon Brown at Head Start, Shawn Reeves at Givens, Paula Welch at Justiss, Officer Donnie Winton at Aikin, Cecilia Lester at Crockett, Neal Stellpflug at Paris Junior High, Amy Burrows at Paris High School, and Alisha McCleese at Travis High School of Choice.  Each winner received a $15 gift certificate from Applebee's.

A drawing was held for the grand prizes from all campus winner names and Karl Weissenmayer of Service Solutions presented $50 gift certificates to Sharon Brown and Officer Donnie Winton.

While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
