Justiss Elementary School honors our nation’s heroes

Justiss Elementary honored U.S. veterans and their service to our great nation recently with the annual Veteran's Assembly and Breakfast.  First grade students performed their play "Celebrate America" for the more than 25 veteran's in attendance.  The Veteran's breakfast was hosted by the Justiss Student Council.

While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
