Paris ISD is proud to announce outstanding achievements by our students at the Future Problem Solving (FPS) International Conference, where young minds from around the globe gather to compete in critical thinking, creativity, and real-world problem-solving. The 2025 International Conference brought together students from 11 countries and 30 U.S. states, making it a truly global showcase of talent and innovation.
The Paris High School Senior Division FPS Team—Caleb Echols, Katherine Mathieu, Anna Grace Blassingame, Hannah Newberry, and Clary Biard—earned an impressive 2nd Place in the Presentation of Action Plan category. Their engaging and well-developed solution to a complex global issue showcased their teamwork, research, and innovation. A special thanks goes to their dedicated coaches, Brent Wilburn and Jill Stone, for their exceptional guidance and support.
In addition to the team’s success, Anna Echols also brought home a 2nd Place finish in Storytelling (Scenario Performance) in the Junior Division. Anna captivated the judges with her imaginative narrative and strong presentation skills. Her success would not have been possible without the support and mentorship of her coach, Eva Dickey.
These incredible accomplishments reflect the hard work, talent, and determination of Paris ISD students and staff. The outstanding achievements by Paris ISD students and coaches are a testament to their hard work, innovation, and dedication to shaping a better future.
