The spotlight was on at Crockett Intermediate as students wowed a packed house with an exciting variety of performances during the school’s highly anticipated talent show. From heartfelt songs to high-energy dance numbers, artistic creations, and jaw-dropping magic tricks, the event was a vibrant celebration of the incredible talent and creativity within the student body.
Acts included everything from singing, piano performances, freestyle art, and drawing, to baton spinning, dancing, and even a few surprising magic tricks that had the audience cheering.
Taking 1st place was Krish Bacharanianda, whose baton-spinning routine to "Timber" by Pitbull & Ke$ha brought the house down with its rhythm, precision, and showmanship. The crowd roared as Krish twirled, tossed, and flipped his baton with confidence and flair.
The 2nd place winners lit up the stage with their dance performance to a Soulja Boy hit. Mallorie Lee, Brooklyn Harris, Asya McCulloch, Ke'Shanti Burns, Dakota Twitty, and Lyric Looney delivered synchronized moves and high energy that had everyone clapping along.
In 3rd place, Jeremiah Pickron impressed judges and the crowd alike with a nostalgic tribute to the King of Pop. His dance and lip-sync routine to Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" paid stylish homage to the icon and had the audience on their feet.
Principal Kimberly Donnan shared, “We are so proud of all our students who participated. Their courage to get up on stage and share their talents with family and friends is truly inspiring.”
The annual talent show continues to be a highlight of the school year, bringing students, families, and staff together to celebrate self-expression and school spirit.
