Students from Paris ISD recently showcased their scientific prowess at the Region 8 ESC Science Fair. Aikin Elementary fourth grader Aaron Cothren placed second in the Elementary Chemical/Physical category with his "Pedal Powered Purity" project. This project showcases his creative approach to solving environmental issues through sustainable energy. Aaron's dedication, creativity, and hard work are evident in his project, showcasing his passion for science and learning.
Anniston Bray, a talented sixth grader from Crockett Intermediate, has made a remarkable achievement by securing second place in the Elementary Invention category. Her inventive spirit and creative thinking were showcased through her project titled "Lock It Revamped." Anniston first created her invention, "Lock It," during her fourth-grade year. Her initial idea was already impressive, but Anniston's dedication and curiosity drove her to expand upon it further. This year, she incorporated an environmental aspect, adding a recycling element to her project. This enhancement not only demonstrates her ability to think creatively but also reflects her awareness of the importance of sustainability.
