Justiss Elementary School’s Renee Keeling awarded Golden Apple

Justiss Elementary School teacher Renee Keeling was selected as Texoma's Golden Apple Award recipient by KTEN television and Texoma Chevy Dealers. Mrs. Keeling was presented with a check for $750 as Texoma's Golden Apple of the Month.

Mrs. Keeling is a vital part of Justiss Elementary, managing campus technology while teaching STEM to 2nd–4th graders and preparing lessons for younger students. She ensures everything runs smoothly, always ready to help with a smile. Her transformation of the computer lab into a Computer/STEM lab has created exciting learning opportunities that students love.

Mrs. Keeling expanded her passion for technology by launching the Justiss News Crew, guiding students in producing weekly news segments with cameras, green screens, and scripts. Their first video reached over 11,000 views on Facebook, showcasing her innovative impact. She also manages the school’s social media, keeping the community informed and engaged.

Mrs. Keeling’s dedication extends beyond school hours. She mentors students, attends sporting events to cheer on Justiss students, and often stays late at school to organize, plan, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Her servant heart, selfless dedication, and unwavering commitment to her students, staff, and community make her an extraordinary educator and leader.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
