Paris ISD Supports Paris France, Our Sister City

The Paris Independent School District Board of Trustees is sending a gift of well wishes and prayers to our sister city as a show we stand with them and call for an end to violence throughout the world,” said Board of Trustees President George Fisher.

Superintendent Paul Jones and the Board signed a personalized card at the meeting Monday evening and gave approval to light the front of Paris High School as a show of support.

Superintendent Paul Jones said, “All students, teachers, employees, parents, and friends of the district are invited to bring cards and letters to the Paris ISD Administration Building located at 1920 Clarksville Street by 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2015.

Displaying cards, banners, and letters for Paris are Superintendent Jones, Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Accountability Althea Dixon, Travis High School Principal Joanie Moore, Justiss Principal Renee’ Elmore, Aikin Principal Kimberly Donnan, and Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Robert High.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
