Recently, students from the Paris ISD who are part of the Paris FFA Chapter visited elementary campuses to share their experiences and encourage younger students to join the organization. The Paris High School and Paris Junior High students brought along their goats and lambs to demonstrate some of the activities in which FFA members participate. They engaged with 2nd to 6th-grade students, explaining the benefits and opportunities that come with being a member of the FFA.
Additionally, the elementary students were invited to attend the 2nd annual Open Barn event this Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This event will provide an opportunity for them to see more animals up close and ask any further questions they may have about becoming members of the FFA. This initiative aims to inspire interest and involvement in agricultural education from a young age, fostering a sense of community and hands-on learning among students.
