Justiss Custodian David Harris Receives Unexpected Gift from Credit Union of Texas

David Harris, the beloved custodian at Justiss Elementary, is a staple in the school community. Known for his unwavering dedication and kind-hearted spirit, Mr. Harris went above and beyond last Christmas. Dressed as Santa Claus, he brought joy to every student by distributing presents he had funded through his own efforts, raising money from local businesses.

In recognition of his generosity, the Credit Union of Texas decided to pay it forward. Today, they surprised Mr. Harris with tickets to watch his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. This gesture not only acknowledges his hard work and selflessness but also aims to bring him the same happiness he has so generously shared with others.

Staff members who have worked with Mr. Harris through the years also pulled together and purchased a jersey of one of his favorite players for him to wear to the game. This heartwarming act of gratitude reflects the deep appreciation and respect the school community holds for Mr. Harris, a true hero in their midst.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
