Crockett Host Popsicles with the Principals

Crockett Intermediate hosted its first event of the 2024-2025 school year, marking an exciting beginning for the 5th – 6th grade campus. The evening kicked off with an informative 5th-grade parent meeting designed to familiarize parents with the school's environment and educational approach. This initial gathering offered a comprehensive overview of what to expect in the upcoming year and provided an opportunity for parents to ask questions and express any concerns. Following the meeting, parents were given a tour of the campus, allowing them to visualize where their children would be spending their school days.

As the parent meeting and campus tour concluded, an inviting atmosphere awaited on the playground. The principals had arranged a delightful event, aptly named "Popsicles with the Principals," inviting all Crockett students and their families to join. This gathering aimed to foster a sense of community and ease the transition into the new school year. Families mingled and enjoyed refreshing popsicles under the warm evening sky, while children explored the playground and made new friends.

The evening's events not only provided valuable information to parents but also set a welcoming tone for the school year. The principal's initiative to host such an inclusive and enjoyable event highlighted Crockett Intermediate's commitment to creating a supportive and engaging school community. As the sun set, the laughter and chatter on the playground signaled a promising start to a successful year ahead.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
