PHS student named SkillsUSA Officer

Paris High School SkillsUSA officer Ceaira Gill was elected as a SkillsUSA District 5 officer.  She is the first to be elected from Paris High in school history. Gill is a health science student in the Career and Technical Education program.

Gill was selected as one of seven officers of SkillsUSA District 5 who will serve more than 1,000 SkillsUSA members. She will attend a summer leadership camp travel to Washington D.C. to advocate for Career and Technical Education. She will volunteer on community projects and travel to promote SkillsUSA across District 5.

When asked of her future plans, Gill says, "I plan to attend PVAMU to further my knowledge in health care. I would like to study kinesiology and become a physical therapist."
