Paris High School Seniors Named Texas Scholars

Seventy-four Paris High School seniors were named as Texas Scholars and recognized by the Lamar County Coalition of Education, Business, and Industry during a recent luncheon. Students were honored for completing a more rigorous schedule of courses and receiving high academic marks. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
