The Destiny (library system) parent/guardian portal is now available. The system allows two contacts (a “primary” and “secondary” contact) for each student to login and view books that the students have checked out from the library along with books they previously checked out. Parents/Guardians have the option to block specific books from being checked out by the student, if desired.

The “primary” contact for each student (as set in Ascender) will need to login first before the “secondary” contact can login. The “primary” contact is the only user who can block books, “secondary” users can view what is checked out currently/previously but as “read” only. If you are not sure if you are the “primary” contact, please contact your child’s campus. 

Destiny does not allow for the contacts to get live notificaitons, but according to their system guides, the student page will reflect checked out books as fast as the Destiny system itself does.
