Mandeep Chatha-Homer Appointed to Paris ISD School Board of Trustees in Place 4 Vacancy

Mandeep Chatha-Homer has been appointed to serve on the Paris ISD School Board of Trustees, filling the Place 4 vacancy formerly held by Mihir Pankaj.

Mrs. Homer was appointed to the Board of Trustees at a regular meeting on June 21, 2021, and will serve until the next regular election in May 2022.

Homer shared, “I am so honored to have been asked to step in for the remainder of Mihir's current term.  Paris ISD has an excellent academic reputation, and I look forward to enhancing that in the future.  I’m excited about the opportunity to serve alongside the administration to support our students, faculty, and staff in any way that I can."

Mihir Pankaj could not fulfill his term due to a conflict of interest in his newly elected office to the Paris City Council.

Superintendent Paul Jones shared, “It has been a pleasure working with Mihir this past year.  He will be a great addition to the Council for the City of Paris.  I am looking forward to working with Mandeep.”

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
