Paris ISD launches Cats on Call Academic Help Desk for remote learners

Paris ISD will be instituting Cats on Call Academic Help Desk for remote learners starting October 6, 2020.
 

Certified teachers will be available live through Google Meets on designated dates and times to assist in specific subject areas.  The assistance will be available for grades K-8.  Below are the days and times that assistance will be given for each campus. 

 

Aikin Elementary and Crockett Intermediate

Help will be available every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday - Reading 

Thursday - Math 

 

Justiss Elementary

Help will be available Monday – Friday

Math and Reading

10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Bilingual help for both Math and Reading

1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

 

Paris Junior High

Help will be available every Monday and Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Monday - Reading and Social Studies

Wednesday - Math and Science

 

Students can check with their remote teacher for access to the Google Meets link.  For more information, please contact the campus level principal for your child.

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
