Paris High School student Isaac Hutchings to Compete for Tarleton State UniversityParis High School senior Isaac Hutchings will be attending Tarleton State University in the fall and will compete on the track and field decathlon team.  Next year will be Tarleton’s inaugural year as a Division 1 university, competing in the Western Athletic Conference.  Isaac is excited to compete at the D1 level and will be majoring in biomedical sciences.  His favorite memories of high school include competing in track, working to improve each year, all of his teachers and coaches, and being a member of the Texas Express Pole Vault Club with Chad and Buzz Andrews in Lucas, Texas.   A participant of the PISD dyslexia program, Isaac is especially thankful for his English instructors over the years, especially Mrs. Sally Bruce, Mrs. Traci Robbins, Mrs. Jill Stone, Mrs. Angie Black, and Mrs. Sandra Strom.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
