Aikin Elementary School Science Fair Winners

Aikin Elementary School’s Science Fair winners were announced recently.
The winners have put in a lot of hard work, time, and effort into their projects, and their success is a testament to their dedication. The winners are:

     Seth Loza – 1st place
     Sloane Withers – 2nd place
     Amelia Chesshire – 3rd place
     Grace Holtman – Honorable Mention

Science fairs are a great way for students to showcase their creativity, ingenuity, and scientific knowledge. They provide an opportunity for students to explore new scientific concepts and ideas, and to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It's inspiring to see the creativity and innovation that students bring to their projects, and the hard work and dedication that goes into creating a winning project.

Aikin’s top two winners will compete in the Region 8 ESC Regional Science Fair on February 8, 2024, in Pittsburg for grades 4-12.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
