Paris High School Student receives $1,000 Scholarship from Paris Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers

Paris Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers presented Asia Johnson with a $1,000.00 scholarship for being their A+ Athlete of the Week.

Asia currently holds a GPA of 4.3, has made the all-A-Honor Roll three out of her four years at Paris, and is a member of the National Honor Society. All while also volunteering around the Paris community for places like the downtown food bank and Toys for Tots. 

When you think of a student-athlete, you’re looking at Asia! She takes her academics just as seriously as she takes athletics. She’s always smiling, a hard worker, studious, organized, and has a never give up attitude. But Asia grinds just as hard in her athletics as well. Competing in volleyball, track, and basketball for the Ladycats. Mainly dominating out on the court as a three-year starter in Paris, where she earned accolades such as THSCA Academic All-State team, 2nd team all-district, and 2nd team all-Red River Valley while also surpassing over 500 career rebounds just this season. Being a multi-sport athlete has helped Asia excel in basketball! She is very coachable, passionate, and motivated to be the best in whatever she does. And that’s why Asia Johnson is Paris Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers A+ Athlete of the week!
