Paris High School authors visit Aikin

Students in Savannah Abbott's reading classes at Paris High School  recently became notable authors.  Each student wrote and illustrated a book and then traveled to Aikin to read their original books to first grade classes. PHS students participating included Jay Bates, Christian Bates, Matthew Cosio, Tykeyah Brown, Byron Muse, Alexius Runnels, Brittani Piper, Jayla Sims, and Zakayla Runnels.

While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
