Crockett students inducted into National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS)

The Crockett Chapter of National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) inducted 53 fifth graders for excellence in academic achievement and involvement in leadership and service. More than just an honor roll, NEHS engages its members in service activities and leadership development that help strengthen the programs for all students and improve life in the community. 

New inductees are Virginia Acosta, Oscar Alamilla, Vanessa Anderson, Colt Ashby, Daniela Barbosa, Makenzie Besteman, Catherine Biard, Anna Grace Blassingame, Thatcher Brown, Evan Clark, Ethan Cole, Ethan Dao, Benjamin Dring, Caleb Echols, Kailah Ethridge, Olivia Fitzgerald, Grant Frierson, Alondra Garcia, Ann Gibbons, Addyson Grimes, Eadward Grimes, Isaiah Hampton, Elizabeth Harper, Chadlee Harrelson, Areli Hernandez, Maricela Hignight, John Hubbard, Joseph Hutchins, Kaydan Ibarra, Malik Johnson, Luke Lassiter, Viktoria Lippincott, Garrett Lowry, Samual Meyer, D’Tadrien Morgan, Hannah Newberry, Nicole Octavio, Tatiana Patt, Christopher Perea-Gonzalez, Rayne Prince, Amy Rodriguez, Paola Rodriguez, Matthew Roland, Jeremiah Smith, Jayden Solomon, Kimberly Tafolla, Kimariah Thomas-Yates, Serenity Tolbert, Aida Torres, Philip Vest, Tyana Williams, Isabelle Woodruff, and Brayden Woods.

While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.
