Beth Dennis, Paris ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year, and Debbie Perry, Paris ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year have been named the Region VIII Teachers of the Year.  In a TEA press release dated Sept. 3, 2008, both Dennis and Perry advance as finalists for 2009 Texas Teacher of the Year.  Please click here for the full press release.

Last spring, NASA selected Jodi Andoe, Jana (Bankston) Lampton, and Abby Rogers of Paris ISD as Texas Middle School Aerospace Scholars (MAS) as MAS educators.  They participated in a one-week summer session July 6-11 at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston.
