Superintendent's Message

Mrs. DixonHello Paris ISD,

It is such an honor and a privilege to be your Superintendent.  I am starting my 33rd year in education, with 27 of those being a proud Wildcat.  I have served as a teacher, coach, counselor, assistant principal, principal, and as an assistant superintendent before moving into the role of the Superintendent of Paris ISD.  Our District has a rich history of providing an excellent education to a diverse population of students.  We have a strong record of accomplishment of academic achievement and growth.
A great school district is the cornerstone of this community.  Our community and schools work collaboratively and support each other, ensuring students have access to high quality programs and opportunities that prepare our young people for great careers and futures.
You have my commitment to work tirelessly with our parents, community, students, educators, and all other stakeholders to focus on those important matters that ensure we are providing excellence in every aspect in our district.  It will be my mission to foster and cultivate the relationships with our stakeholders, while making decisions based on what is best for our students.
As we start this new journey together, I hope you trust that we will hold our students to high standards of accountability, discipline, and good citizenship, along with ourselves.  Paris ISD is an amazing school district full of amazing staff members who provide so many opportunities for students.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, my door is always open.
We are looking forward to a great school year!

Althea Dixon

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
