Paris school board names new administrators

The Paris Independent School District Board of Trustees appointed a new director and an assistant principal at its meetings held June 20 and July 18.

Eva Williams will be Lamar County Head Start Director replacing Judie Forte’-Huff who retired at the end of the 2015-2016 school year.

Williams has 17 years of education experience.  She has been assistant principal at Paris High School since 2010 and was junior high choir director and assistant high school choir director for ten years prior to that.

Williams received her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University - Commerce and her master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Sabrina Day was named Paris High School assistant principal to fill the role left vacant by Eva Williams. Day has 16 years of education experience.  She served as Technology Coordinator at Justiss Elementary School from 2008 to 2016.  Prior to that, she was a 3rd grade teacher at Justiss.

Day received her bachelor's and master’s degrees from Texas A&M University - Commerce.

Quick Tip Information

Quick Tip is a support system that allows students to communicate with school administrators. While the district already has many programs to help students deal with challenges such as bullying behaviors, stress, peer pressure, and family problems, Quick Tip helps break the code of silence often experienced by students because it allows them to report concerns to administrators anonymously.

Submit from App
SchoolMessenger Quick Tip app is available for both iOS (iTunes App Store) and Android devices (Google Play). Download SchoolMessenger Quick Tip App. When launching the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the school district code. The school district code is paristx.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a crisis line. In cases of emergency, the site will direct students to call 911!
