The Paris Independent School District Board of Trustees appointed a new director and an assistant principal at its meetings held June 20 and July 18.
Eva Williams will be Lamar County Head Start Director replacing Judie Forte’-Huff who retired at the end of the 2015-2016 school year.
Williams has 17 years of education experience. She has been assistant principal at Paris High School since 2010 and was junior high choir director and assistant high school choir director for ten years prior to that.
Williams received her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University - Commerce and her master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.
Sabrina Day was named Paris High School assistant principal to fill the role left vacant by Eva Williams. Day has 16 years of education experience. She served as Technology Coordinator at Justiss Elementary School from 2008 to 2016. Prior to that, she was a 3rd grade teacher at Justiss.
Day received her bachelor's and master’s degrees from Texas A&M University - Commerce.
