Spanish students at Paris High School and Paris Junior High School competed in the 42nd annual North East Texas Organization of Language Educators—NET-OLE—Foreign Languages Symposium at Texas TAMU-Commerce and brought home 62 places. The group earned the High Point Award and Sweepstakes Award for the second year in a row for the most total points in a field of seventeen schools. The contest is organized into academic and cultural events according to levels of experience. Students who placed are:
