Paris Junior High School and Crockett Intermediate School students recently competed in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) Expo. This innovative alternative to a typical science fair gives students the opportunity to exhibit and be rewarded for accomplishments in STEAM fields.
Crockett winners advancing to the Region 8 and Regional Science Fair in Pittsburg and Kilgore on February 9 and 26 are Ava Hutchings, Hanna Syed, and Mark Sneed. Winners in Art and Digital Media, Invention, Reverse Engineering, and Science Fiction Writing are Jackson Alsup, Lucy Walter, Liberty Toland, James Laster, Adam Hartman, and Hana Syed.
